Sveti Vlas is located in a picturesque area of the Bulgarian coast - near the last slopes of Stara Planina, which gently descend into the crystal clear waters of the vast Black Sea. This favourable combination offers many sunny days (on average 260 per year), cool evenings, fresh air and ideal conditions for the treatment of lung diseases.
In addition to the ideal climate, which is close to the Mediterranean Sea, Sveti Vlas has an interesting history. 1800 years ago, a Thracian settlement stood on the site of a luxury port and luxury complexes. During this period, the town was known as Larissa and the real name of the patron saint of trade, acquired in the 14th century.
The beach strip of the resort is 1.5 km long and has a latitude of up to 16 meters. Beautiful beaches with fine golden sand, which according to the European Commission are one of the cleanest and most attractive for summer holidays in Bulgaria.
