The town of Nessebar is one of the most visited Bulgarian resorts on the Black Sea coast. It is located 38 km from Burgas and 100 km south of Varna on the rocky peninsula of the same name, which freely connects to the sandy Sunny Beach in the south.

The town was declared an architectural and archaeological reserve in 1056. Since 1983, it has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Typical for this picturesque place is the Black Sea development of two-story wooden houses, pressed together in winding streets. The beach is sandy, with a gradual entrance to the sea, and offers a wide range of sports activities (football, volleyball, jet skiing, etc.). Along the sandy beach on the mainland, 2 km from the old center, there is a new quarter.
