Chernomorets is located 26 km south of Burgas and 9 km north of it

Sozopol. There are regular buses to the neighbouring towns as well as a bus to

the capital. The resort of Chernomorets is a bit out of the mould of classic beach destinations. A small rural town surrounded by gently rolling countryside full of fields and meadows, it lives a somewhat sleepy life even during the summer. The villas and small country houses in the centre are interrupted by a square with a classic socialist "cultural centre", and only right by the beach do you come across a few small hotels. Černomorets is a resort with a very quiet and pleasant atmosphere ideal for spending a rural holiday by the sea. Right in the village you will find a nice town beach, which can be a bit crowded in summer. Roughly two thirds are set aside for businesses renting sunbeds and umbrellas, while you can bring your own equipment for the rest. The small promenade between the beach and the town is filled with many small restaurants. Considerably more spacious and prettier is the beach between Cernomorets and Sozopol, which is over 2 km long.
