In the immediate vicinity of the Frapa marina , you can see an interesting natural phenomenon, the Dragon's Eye lake , which is connected to the sea and is therefore salty. There are special conditions in the lake water. There is no oxygen in its lower layer, only hydrogen sulfide , so this part of the lake is lifeless. There is enough oxygen in its upper layers, so the conditions are similar to those in the sea. Oysters, crayfish, crawfish and lobsters, for example, live here in large numbers. Thanks to its peculiarity, many experts and hydrologists deal with the lake.
