Božura Nature Reserve is located nearby with a hotel complex 15km away. Geographically, the property is located in the northeastern part of the mountain hill "Kara Tepe", which is part of the Strandja mountain range. The village is famous for its extremely clean mountain air. Almost 6 km away is an extremely interesting reserve for sea dragonflies. It is located south of Burgas, near another village - Debelt. The reserve is fenced and has the highest number of visitors in spring, when most of the sea dragonflies can be observed. Near Debelt you can visit another interesting place, but this time historical - the ancient Roman town of Deultum or what is left of it. The ruins were founded in the 1st century, during the reign of the Roman emperor Titus Flavius. Archaeological excavations have uncovered several coin hoards and statues, which are proof that the city was very rich and was probably a colony of free Roman citizens, perhaps the only one in the Bulgarian lands today. Furthermore, you can see the Mandra Dam, located about 13 km from Drachevo, which will enchant you with the beautiful area in which it is located. Its old name is Lake Madren and it is part of the 4 lakes of Burgas.
