Since 1994 Primorsko has been a holder of the Blue Flag symbol. The Blue Flag is a symbol that indicates beaches or marinas that meet environmental standards. To obtain the flag, clean water and waste recycling are required, and beaches must also have wheelchair access and be equipped with medical facilities, an information centre, entertainment elements, toilets and changing cubicles.
