The city center is not so prominent, we can find only concrete buildings here. The most beautiful and greenest part is Topolica, which lies only 500 m from the port. We should definitely visit the palace for King Nicholas I, which was built at the end of the 19th century and today functions as a historical and archaeological museum. It is located in a garden where we can admire dozens of exotic trees.

Swimming in this area is among the best in Bar. The beach, which is about 800 meters long, offers a walk to the marina. But this is not the only possibility to relax on the beach. Another is, for example, the long, 2 kilometer long, forest-surrounded, pebbly beach Šušanj.

If you take a boat or boat further south of Bar, you will find many tiny beaches that are secluded and just beckon to explore.

At the very south of the riviera is the well-known Tropicana beach, which boasts the prestigious Blue Flag award not only for the cleanliness of the sea and environment, but also for the excellent quality of the services provided and their safety.

And finally, the best part: The most popular and, according to the locals, the most beautiful beach of the Bar Riviera is the so-called Red Beach. The name is based on the romantic color found here. The sand is red, the pebbles on the beach and even in the sea a red pebble flashes here and there.

There is enough of everything in the Bar. Romantics can stroll in endless olive groves, whose olives are among the best in the Adriatic.
