Vodice is a very lively tourist town with lots of restaurants, shops and cafes. It is located in the very centre of the Croatian coast, 12 km from Sibenik. Vodice is surrounded by pine forests and vineyards. Vodice has around 9 000 inhabitants. The Mediterranean climate of Vodice means that the temperature in summer is between 26 and 30 degrees and in winter between 5 and 10 degrees. You can spend a whole day (or even an evening) on the 4 km long beach Plava plaža (Plava means blue). The beach has been awarded the blue flag.
