BULGARIAN DREAM
Imagine living your dream. To live in a country that has its own sea, and on top of that, in winter you can ski on slopes that are comparable to the Alpine ones. Waking up fresh every morning, full of energy, feeling the fresh sea air. Have breakfast overlooking the sea, work from the terrace while feeling the refreshing sea breeze, or relax as the seagulls fly by. Walking on the beach at sunset and falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore... Simply living each day, doing business, relaxing or aging by the sea and not worrying about how to financially secure your future. Now the question is - how do we do that?
We have the answer for you in the form of two examples of our clients' stories:
Happy Retirement
This is the story of a married couple, let's call them Honza and Lucie. Honza is a 63-year-old man who celebrated his 34th wedding anniversary with his wife Lucie this year. They have two wonderful adult children, a son and a daughter. The couple contacted us 3 years ago and told us their wishes. They wanted to live and grow old next to each other by the sea, on the beach. And then began our journey together to make our dream of a happy life by the sea come true.
The couple are now in their third year living in Bulgaria, in an apartment by the beach, happy and single, which we know because we stay in touch - we call each other several times a year, send birthday wishes and they will also become part of the currently founded MOJENEMOVITOSTUMORE Z.S. How did this couple manage to do it? The answer is "simply".
Before they moved to Bulgaria together, they owned an apartment here in Prague. They still own this apartment and have a steady rental income from it, besides receiving a pension as they have worked all their lives. This income provides them with a good and carefree life.
Let's put the numbers together. The pension income is CZK 12 000, the rent of the flat is CZK 15 000, for a total income of CZK 27 000 per month. The average monthly cost of living in Bulgaria comes out to 7 - 14 000,- CZK. Thanks to this, they do not have to deal with any financial worries and live their dream come true. We'll call it the Bulgarian dream.
Restart
This story is about a young man, a businessman, post-divorce and with children in alternate care. Let's call him Mirek. Mirek contacted us some time ago absolutely devastated after a divorce from his long-time partner. He asked us for help, he had an idea of a holiday where he could relax and get away from it all for a while. He rented an apartment in Bulgaria through us and went there for a while to refresh himself, get a new direction in life and reboot. He was gone for a few weeks. When he came back, he was a completely different person. Apart from being tanned, Mirek exuded a great zest for life, was relaxed and immediately threw himself into the solution. He decided to buy his own property in Bulgaria. He wanted to be able to return there whenever he wanted to draw new strength and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Now he goes there at least twice a year, taking his children with him, and they always return happy.
And what happens to his property when he is not there? He makes full use of it anyway, renting out his flat to other people in similar or different situations. He allows others to relax and gets extra income from it.
Let's consider this story as well. He bought the apartment for €37,000 (i.e. about €980,000,- CZK*), the maintenance of the apartment costs about €14,000 per year, and he can rent up to €50/night (i.e. €1,321,- CZK*) in high season. For providing e.g. a 14-day holiday to one family in his apartment, he has already paid the annual maintenance costs of the property. And he can rent it out several times.
He says he has started living his dream. We'll call it the BULGARIAN DREAM.
